MacDonough Street Photo Album Weekend Nov. 16-17

Saturday , Nov. 16: MORE THAN FACES in a CROWD, BATON CARRIERS: Sitting with Bedford-Stuyvesant residents are leaders whose Olympian work in support of keeping the neighborhood alive dates back seven decades. Their connections to the neighborhood’s political and social genealogical hierarchy branches, most notably, from 19th century Weeksville and earlier. Among the observers are: Seddio, Liu, Cookie Vann, Grannum, Mashariki, Cunningham observe activ ities and speeches at the street co-naming of the block where the spirit of Al Vann lives and thrives.
