Hip-Hop turned 50 and the Brooklyn Public Library commemorated the anniversary with NIGHT IN THE LIBRARY: THE PHILOSOPHY OF HIP-HOP on Saturday, June 17 at the Central Library.

The event featured an interview with Dr/ Gloria Carter, President and Co-Founder of the Shawn Carter Foundation, and a presentation by Hip-Hop legend, KRS-One.
