    Purple Passionate: Camilla joined thousands to party like it’s 1999 at Spike’s fete for Prince, June 4.

    It was a day of beginnings, endings, celebrations, memorials, farewells and laughter with Congresswoman Yvette Clarke’s tribute to 15 Shining Stars at the Milk River Club on Atlantic Avenue and a stop down the block at Bob Law’s Namaskar Health and Wellness Emporium to poignant celebrations of lives lived:  for Prince, an amazing Brooklyn birthday bash produced and directed by host Spike Lee at Restoration Plaza and for Ronald Edgar McPhatter, athlete, fitness trainer and

    33 balloons were let loose at Ronald Edgar McPhatter’s funeral service in Brooklyn. 

    personal security professional, a loving hours-long tribute led by his family and friends at historic Brown Memorial Church, it was a day of bittersweet moments all somehow placed in perspective by the amazing Dick Gregory later that evening at Caroline’s in Manhattan.
