    The Kings County Democratic County Committee and Party Chair Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn hosted this year’s Brooklyn Democratic Party Gala attended by Brooklyn’s top movers and shakers at Giando on the Water, Monday, July 31, 2023.
    Special Guests included: U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles “Chuck” Schumer, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, U.S House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries,

    Among the honorees were: The Council of School Supervisors and Administrators (CSA), The Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, AFL-CIO (HTC), The United Federation of Teachers (UFT), Local 372, N.Y.C. Board of Education Employees.
    The event also paid tribute to Brooklyn small businesses, Brooklyn Tea founded by husband and wife team Jamila Wright and official Tea Sommelier Alfonso Wright; Howell Industries, Inc., Owned and operated by Bill Howell; itselectric, co-founded by Nathan King and Tiya Gordon, and Park Asia restaurant.
