Going with The Flow: AT 20, Flau’jae is “Addicted to ACRES and GENERATIONAL WEALTH”

Roc Nation rapper and LSU Tigers basketball icon Flau’jae Johnson’s quest to build generational wealth for herself, her family and her community has matched her record for music chart toppers and winning hoops scores.

In an Instagram post, Johnson shared that she purchased 20 acres of land in Atlanta, Georgia at age 20. She also proclaimed Joy for her accomplishment and gave the credit to a Higher Court.

“GOD IS AMAZING! I Done Got Addicted to The Acres. 20 Years Old With a total of 20 Acres!! Generational Wealth Fr @HomeDepot, what’s up?? Help me make some dreams a reality!”
And then there’s the second in command who helped structure her dream-to-reality transformation. The LSU Tiger thanks her momager, Kia Brooks, “for sacrificing EVERYTHING to help me chase my dream, I love you for life.”

The business side of Flau’jae’s rising success, which melds three industries: real estate, sports and music, is due to Ms. Brooks. She also remembers her deceased father, the rapper Camouflage, in her latest EP, “Best of Both Worlds,” which dropped in June. It includes collaborations with Lil Wayne, NLE Choppa and 2rare. It also continues the legacy of her father, who was fatally shot in May 2003, six months before Flau’jae was born.

Flau’jae has said, about the deep personal motivations leading to her successes on and off court, “It’s about building something bigger than basketball or music. I want to create opportunities for my community and leave a legacy that shows young women, especially young Black women, that we can do it all.

“Owning 20 acres at my age is proof that with vision and hard work, we can break boundaries and build the future we dream of,” the basketball star said, to Boardroom.
