    CABS Health Network, a respected provider of quality home care services in Brooklyn for over 40 years, marked a significant milestone in its storied history with the opening of their new office and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 25. The event took place at their new headquarters, located in the Pfizer Building at 630 Flushing Avenue.


    The ceremony was attended by a host of distinguished legislators and elected officials, all of whom gathered to celebrate this pivotal moment for the health network. The event highlighted CABS Health Network’s long-standing commitment to providing exceptional care to Brooklyn’s residents and their continued dedication to serving the community from a new, state-of-the-art facility.

    Sherly Demosthenes-Atkinson, CEO of CABS Health Network in her remarks noted that CABS represents more than just a title, embodying their dedication to transforming healthcare through an integrated care management mindset. She noted that over the years, CABS has evolved from a single service model to a comprehensive network that connects clients or patients to the essential services they need.


    “Caring is in our DNA,” noted Ms. Demosthenes-Atkinson. “Our vision is to be a beacon of hope and health, setting a standard for community-centered care.”
    According to the CEO, CABS envisions a future where every person has access to high-quality care. “We are committed to expanding our services and leveraging technology to make your healthcare experience seamless and supportive,” Demosthenes-Atkinson stated.


    The CABS CEO believes the future is bright, adding that is it one we must build together. “By embracing innovation, fostering collaboration and staying true to our mission – where innovation, healing, teaching and discovery come together, we will transform healthcare in our community,” emphasized Demosthenes-Atkinson.


    Following the ribbon-cutting, guests were invited to tour the new premises and attend a resource fair. The tour showcased the modern amenities and advanced facilities that will enhance the organization’s ability to deliver top-notch home care services. The resource fair featured various community organizations and health care providers, offering valuable information and services to attendees.


    This move to the Pfizer Building represents not just a change in location, but a significant upgrade in infrastructure that will enable CABS Health Network to better serve its clients. The new space is equipped with advanced technologies and facilities designed to improve both operational efficiency and the quality of care provided.

    CABS Co-Founder William Andrews in an interview with Our Time Press said the grand opening of the new office represents the fulfillment of a dream come true. He commended the CEO for her leadership, adding that she’s a lightning rod who is building on the success of her predecessors.
