Florence Mills Showcases THE MARCH

Published on

Florence Mills Productions celebrates its 10th year with an original theatrical presentation written and directed by Ms. Mills, entitled THE MARCH, a fictional play about four women whose chance meeting at a Women’s March for Humanity completely changes their lives – and their respective views of themselves – forever.
THE MARCH covers the effects of abuse on the emotional, the spiritual, the social and the physical aspects of women.  The women share their secrets about their individual lives and take us through a comedic and dramatic journey struggling with unhealthy relationships.   Through music and dance performances (choreographed by Kim Elliott and Ms. Mills), THE MARCH also delivers a very important message and inspires change within all of us.
The stars are Shaunta Macklin as Millie, Karen Paolini as Letta, Crystal Peoples as Evangeline and Carmen Vernon as Felia.   Ms. Mills portrays The Marching Spirit.  Gregory S. Green is the supporting actor in key roles and Hanifyfa Noel is The Girl from Jamaica.
The play’s five performances take place, Thursday, May 17 through Saturday, May 19 at 6:00pm and 8pm at The Producer’s Club, 358 West 44th Street , in New York City .  Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.  For more information, contact 347.247.9077.
