Operating on a U.S. Marshal’s warrant, cops broke up a large fake credit card operation on March 21, police said.

Cops raided the 487 Lincoln Place apartment around 3 pm and were able to recover a large unspecified amount of fake credit cards, blank credit cards and identifications.

At press time, it is unknown if arrests were also made.

A woman’s shopping trip turned into a nightmare after her purse was stolen on March 20, police said.

The 31-year-old victim was on a privately chartered bus that she picked up on the Albany and Atlantic Avenue intersection to go on a factory outlet shopping trip.

However, when she returned her purse was missing along with her ipod, Nook and money.

Busted for stealing electricity

A 33-year-old man was collared for stealing the electricity from a neighbor on March 17, police said.

The perpetrator allegedly gained access to his neighbor’s electrical meter from breaking through a metal gate and into the basement.

A 54-year-old man had his 16-year-old daughter arrested on March 17 following a domestic dispute, police said.

The daughter allegedly lost her temper at about 9:20 pm and broke the family computer, a window in the front door and other items at their Sterling Street residence.

An unknown woman posed as someone else and withdrew $4,825 from a Chase Bank on March 18, police said.

The perpetrator entered the bank at 318 Eastern Parkway at about 8 am. After showing identification and her social security number she was able to withdraw the cash.

Two thugs snatched a woman’s purse on March 14, police said.

The woman was in front of 544 Throop Avenue at about 2:30 am when the two perpetrators pushed her to the ground and fled in an unknown direction.

The 79th Precinct Robbery Squad is investigating the incident.

A young punk robbed a woman of her cell phone on March 17, police said.

The 26-year-old victim was walking from the train on Lafayette Ave, towards Marcus Garvey Blvd, at about 1:30 pm when the perpetrator approached her from the rear, struck her in the face and forcibly removed her cell phone.

The 70th precinct robbery squad is investigating the incident.

Thieves shattered a car window on March 15 and stole undisclosed property in it, police said.

The 2010 Toyota was parked on the corner of DeKalb and Marcy Avenues.

The 79th Precinct encourages all residents and visitors to lock car doors and remove all personal property from an auto, or leave personal property in the trunk.

Cops nabbed two alleged burglars in the middle of their crime on March 19, police said,

Cops were called to a burglary in progress at about 7:50 pm of a residence under construction inside 324 Quincy Street.

The responding police observed two males in the apartment without permission or authority of the owners. The perpetrators fled on foot out a window and after a brief foot pursuit were apprehended.

88th Precinct covering Fort Greene/Clinton Hill

A 27-year-old man is clinging to life after being stabbed on March 20, police said.

The victim was in a social club at 317 Clermont Avenue when two perpetrators attacked him at about 2:45 am. According to a witness account, while one of the punks punched him the other made a stabbing motion with something in his hand.

When cops arrived they found the victim barely conscious with at least one stab wound to the abdomen. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital where following surgery he remains in critical condition.

Police arrested and charged two 29-year-old men in the attack.

Two punks robbed a man of his headphones on March 20, police said.

The 20-year-old victim was listening to music on his Dr. Dre’s Monster Beats solo headphones (worth about $300) as he was at the subway station on Fulton Street and South Portland Avenue at about 8:30 pm.

The two perpetrators came up to him and while one punched him, the other said, “I want those headphones.”

The two then grabbed the headphones and fled.

A heartless thug choked and robbed a 22-year-old on March 19, cops said.

The victim was walking home from a friend’s house at 2:55 am when he was attacked on the corner of Irving Place and Gates Avenue.

As the perpetrator choked him he said, “Give me your ipod and what else you have.”

The robber fled with the victim’s ipod and Android cell phone.

A sticky-fingered bandit swiped a Brooklyn Hospital employee’s wallet and cell phone on March 17, police said.

The 41-year-old employee went to use the bathroom at about 12:45 pm when someone swiped her wallet, which was in the unlocked compartment over her desk.

The perpetrator also took her cell phone off the desk.

An unknown perpetrator stole $1,598 worth of items from a Best Buy on March 17, police said.

The 31-year-old female victim noticed her identity was used after getting a billing statement from Best Buy sent to her home.

A gang of nine assaulted and stabbed a man on March 18, police said.

The thugs jumped the 34-year-old victim at about 12:40 am on the northeast corner of DeKalb Avenue and the Flatbush Avenue Extension. When cops were called all but one of the gang members fled.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man at the scene.

The victim had four stab wounds. His condition was not known at press time.
